Um homem foi detido pela Guarda Municipal de Caruaru na noite desta quarta-feira, 15 de julho de 2026, acusado de agredir e ameaçar a própria companheira no bairro Kennedy.

Levado à delegacia, ele apresentou comportamento agressivo, quebrou uma televisão na recepção e danificou uma porta de acesso. Além de violência doméstica, responderá por dano ao patrimônio público e permanece à disposição da Justiça.

### MOTOCICLISTA MORRE EM COLISÃO COM CAMINHÃO NA PE-180

Um motociclista, ainda não identificado, morreu na manhã desta quinta-feira, 16 de julho, após bater na traseira de um caminhão na rodovia PE-180, em São Bento do Una.

A batida ocorreu no trecho entre o centro e o distrito de São Vicente Ferrer. A vítima não usava capacete e faleceu no local. O corpo foi encaminhado ao IML de Caruaru, e as causas do acidente são investigadas.

### POLÍCIA APREENDE 7 KG DE DROGAS E ARMA NO ALTO DO MOURA

Equipes do 1º BIESP realizaram operação na madrugada desta quinta-feira no Residencial Alto do Moura, em Caruaru, e apreenderam cerca de sete quilos de maconha e cocaína, além de uma pistola calibre 9 mm e munições de uso restrito.

Ninguém foi detido no momento, mas as investigações seguem para identificar os responsáveis pelo tráfico e posse ilegal de arma. Todo o material foi entregue à Delegacia de Defesa Social.

### MAN ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VANDALIZES POLICE STATION

A man was detained by the Caruaru Municipal Guard on Wednesday night, July 15, 2026, accused of assaulting and threatening his partner in the Kennedy neighborhood.

At the police station, he became aggressive, broke a reception television and damaged an access door. He faces additional charges of damaging public property and remains in custody awaiting court proceedings.

### MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN TRUCK CRASH ON HIGHWAY PE-180

An unidentified motorcyclist died early Thursday, July 16, after hitting the rear of a truck on highway PE-180 in São Bento do Una.

The accident happened between the town center and São Vicente Ferrer district. The rider was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene. The body was taken to the Caruaru Legal Medicine Institute; the cause of the collision is under investigation.

### POLICE SEIZE 7 KG OF DRUGS AND WEAPON IN ALTO DO MOURA

1º BIESP teams carried out an operation early Thursday at the Alto do Moura housing complex in Caruaru, seizing approximately seven kilograms of marijuana and cocaine, plus a 9 mm pistol and restricted-use ammunition.

No arrests were made during the operation, but investigations continue to identify those responsible for drug trafficking and illegal weapons possession. All items were handed over to the Caruaru Police Station.
